Toppers that are less than 2 inches thick will give beds a slighter degree of softness, and toppers thicker than 3 inches may change the feel of a mattress entirely.
Most common thickness to get is the 2" Thick which is also most recommended for people who sleep on their stomach. The 3" and 4" thick is used more so for side and back sleepers.
